Benatia: “I Must Put Aside Feelings against Udinese”

Roma centerback Mehdi Benatia has admitted that it will be odd to be in the visitors’ dressing room when the Giallorossi travel to Udine to face his former club.

“It will not be a game like any other. I will see many friendly faces. In Udine, I spent a good deal of time, and seeing Guidolin on the other bench will be an odd thing. I will only think about the match and I’ll put aside feelings for 90 minutes.”

The Moroccan international arrived in Roma after spending three seasons in Udine and claimed he is very happy with his move to the capital. “In Rome I feel good and even my family feels good. We are fortunate to have great results, which makes it easier to integrate yourself. My two goals? The first embodies the mindset of this year, the second involved a little luck. Sunday we will be without Totti and Gervinho, we have to win for them.”
