Roma Face Curva Ban

A.S Roma have been hit with a two match Curva ban by an Italian sporting judge after it was revealed that territorial discriminations chants were sung during Roma’s 3-2 victory over Napoli in the Coppa Italia.

As of now, the Curva Sud will be empty for matches against Sampdoria and Inter. Roma were handed a two match ban because their one match ban for the exact same offense had been suspended from earlier in the season (against Napoli in October).

Roma’s CEO Italo Zanzi admitted that the club will release a statement shortly regarding the ban and it is expected the club with appeal the decision.
