Palermo’s Budan praises Roma’s youth integration

Former Palermo player and current team manager Igor Budan praised the work of AS Roma in integrating youth players into their first team:

“Roma, Fiorentina, and Napoli are an example of how you have to work with young people. They’re using some talented ones that are already important. I don’t think we should have a team of just twenty-somethings, but I do think that despite what they say, the Italian league has made significant investments to revive the (youth) system compared to when I started to play in Serie A.”
