Alejandro Gomez wants Serie A return

Former Catania winger Alejandro “Papu” Gomez is keen on a move back to Serie A after growing unhappy with his current situation in Ukraine and his club, Metalist.

Gomez, who spent 3 seasons with the Sicilians, has made it clear he wants a return to Italy and, as reported by TuttomercatoWeb, Roma, Napoli, and Fiorentina are interested in the player. Gomez has a €12 million release clause in his contract but Metalist, who are suffering economic problems, have made it clear they’re willing to negotiate for the player. Leo Rodriguez, Gomez’ agent, spoke today to and stated, “I will do everything to bring Gomez in Serie A”.
