Roma have made inquiries about Sebastiano Esposito, a striker currently owned by Cagliari.

The Giallorossi are looking for a striker who can complete their lineup, considering that Artem Dovbyk is on his way out and Ferguson has already practically left after failing to make a buyout.

Whether or not the Rossoblu are open to a transfer, which would be a substantial one, remains to be seen.

Como also showed interest in him a few weeks ago, trying to determine his possible costs.

His starting price could be around €25 million, perhaps with a small discount, but without selling off at a low price.

His buyout took place after the club’s safety for €4 million – plus a 40% interest on any future resale to Inter.

In 2025/26, Esposito had a good season, with 39 appearances, eight goals, and six assists in all competitions.
