Lorenzo Pellegrini is still waiting to sign his contract renewal.

An agreement with Roma will need to be reached in the next few hours, as the player is currently a free agent and is expected in Trigoria on July 13th for a training camp ahead of next season.

The Giallorossi’s number 7 is an important player for Gasperini, who has requested his contract remain.

The Roman midfielder’s agent has had an initial meeting with D’Amico, and the parties are working towards a final agreement.

As Corriere dello Sport reports, contact between the player’s agent and the Giallorossi club is ongoing, and a new meeting with D’Amico is scheduled for tomorrow or Tuesday to bridge the gap and reach a final agreement as soon as possible.

The goal is to close the deal within a few days, especially since several clubs are interested in Pellegrini, who has always prioritized Roma.
