Roma have seen their main transfer target, Mason Greenwood, slip away.

The English winger will move to Fenerbahce in the next few hours, having reached an agreement with the player and is now close to matching OM’s offer.

This is a huge disappointment for many Roma fans who were hoping for a major signing.

The 2001-born player was at the top of Gasperini’s wish list, and he will now have to focus on another winger who can boost Roma’s attack. Alternatives will gradually emerge.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ndoye’s profile is worthy of scrutiny, and D’Amico could reach an agreement with the former Bologna player for €3.5 million plus bonuses.

As Alfredo Pedullà reports, several wingers are currently not on the Giallorossi’s list: Porto’s Pepe was proposed a few weeks ago, but the trail is cold, and there’s little room for maneuver for both Real Betis’ Antony and Stuttgart’s Leweling.

Regarding Ndoye, contrary to the confidence expressed by La Gazzetta dello Sport, according to this reconstruction, the chances of the former Bologna player making a move are close to zero.
