Roma has chosen the type of winger to hand over to Gian Piero Gasperini.
The names have changed, but not the profile: an explosive, quick player, capable of beating his opponents and breaking up games with a burst of speed.
For this reason, the Giallorossi transfer market is moving along two parallel tracks: Antonio Nusa and Crysencio Summerville.
Il Romanista is strongly relaunching Nusa’s name, even suggesting him as a possible first choice for the attack.
The Leipzig winger is younger and more promising than Summerville, but has similar characteristics: dribbling, acceleration, a change of pace, and the ability to create numerical superiority from the left.
Roma is reportedly ready to invest around €45 million for the Norwegian talent, a sum considered necessary to try and convince Leipzig.
The player is said to have already reached an agreement for a €3.5 million per season contract, but a deal with the German club remains to be finalized.
Meanwhile, the possibility of Summerville, currently at West Ham, remains open. The Dutchman is considered a more ready-to-use prospect, slightly more experienced and already well-rounded, but with the same qualities Gasperini seeks: speed, dribbling, and the ability to attack one-on-one.
