The Giallorossi management and sporting director Tony D’Amico are keen to accommodate the coach’s request.

A left-sided attacking player born in 2004, he also made a name for himself with excellent performances at the recently concluded 2026 World Cup, scoring one goal and three assists.
Coming off a season with 43 appearances, 10 goals, and 7 assists in all competitions under Mourinho, Schjelderup was also in the sights of Roma (and Parma) in the winter transfer window.
