His physical and technical abilities seemed like the perfect fit for Gian Piero Gasperini and the back-row formation, a key component of the Grugliasco-born coach’s vision.

The 1996-born player made 25 appearances (1,056 minutes) for the Roman club.
The number 12 registered just one assist in all competitions, but fans were impressed by his ability to avoid creating any real threat in attack. The winger, when he attempted crosses or shots, displayed poor accuracy, and for this reason the club decided to release him.
Tsimikas will return to Liverpool and become Kerkez’s deputy in Andoni Iraola’s squad. Speaking to the English club, the Scot discussed last season and took a dig at Gasp: “Last year I had a very tough and strange season, but now I’m here. I trained hard over the last year, even though for some reason I didn’t play much.”
The Greek is now excited to start from his comfort zone: “I can’t wait to return to Anfield.” At Trigoria, Angelino’s condition for next season is unclear and they’re looking for a winger. In any case, the number 12 won’t be a disappointment.
