Primavera midfielder Muhammed Bah suffers tornl ACL

The worst-case scenario has become reality.

Tests performed on Muhammed Bah after the injury sustained in the friendly against Cardiff City confirmed a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee.

The 2007-born midfielder sustained the injury after a challenge with the Welsh goalkeeper, leaving the pitch on a stretcher in tears.

An MRI scan confirmed the severity of the injury.

The young Gambian player will undergo surgery in the coming days by Dr. Georg Ahlbäumer, with recovery time estimated at around nine months.
