In addition to pushing hard for Rodrigo Mora, Roma are looking to accelerate the transfer market and land Gian Piero Gasperini two signings by mid-August.

The Portuguese talent isn’t the only name linked to the Giallorossi these days, as they’re also looking to strengthen other areas of the pitch.

Sporting Director Tony D’Amico is reportedly evaluating Destiny Udogie to strengthen the left flank and offer an excellent alternative to Wesley.

The Spurs full-back, who previously played for Udinese in Serie A, was considered unsellable until just a few weeks ago.

Now, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, the deal isn’t impossible, but clarity is needed. Roberto De Zerbi’s team seems willing to let the youngster leave, but must eventually figure out how to replace him.

At the moment, Udogie isn’t the only player on the move. Tottenham are also negotiating the departure of Djed Spence, a left-back highly regarded by Inter. If both players depart, the North London club will have to protect themselves in the transfer market and find a new signing.
