Roma crushed Fiorentina with the Dybala-Malen duo, but behind them, there’s someone who’s been busy working hard to allow the two Giallorossi stars to focus on attacking.
That person is Bryan Cristante, who spoke to DAZN after the match.
The Giallorossi number 4 commented on the performance of the two forwards: “They make the difference when they’re in good shape. Dybala makes the difference when he’s in good shape, Donyell scored early, and we hope they continue like this for as long as possible.”
Cristante then focused on his and his teammates’ form: “We’re in good shape; we’ve had a good preseason with our efforts. If they deliver performances like this, that’s great. We’re also more prepared; the group is the same, and we’re prepared for the coach’s workload and the game.”
Finally, the Giallorossi midfielder expressed his emotions at making his name in the club’s history books, surpassing Masetti in the Giallorossi’s all-time top 10 appearances: “It’s an incredible club, an incredible city. I’m honored. I hope to continue like this, to win more.”
