Roma isn’t giving up on Jamie Leweling and is trying to accelerate negotiations with Stuttgart.
After the German club rejected their initial offer, as reported by Sky Sport DE, the Giallorossi have formalized a new offer to the German club worth €30 million plus €5 million in bonuses.
Leweling remains one of the players that sporting director Tony D’Amico is working on to provide Gasperini with a new attacking winger. Meanwhile, Roma is also awaiting a response from the player.
This is Roma’s second attempt to sign Leweling. Yesterday, Stuttgart rejected an initial offer from the Giallorossi, which involved a €5 million loan with a €35 million obligation to buy.
This rejection, however, hasn’t stopped Roma from pursuing Leweling, as evidenced by the new offer recently made. The names of Luiz Henrique of Zenit and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens of Chelsea also remain on the table.
