Nahuel Molina, who came on in the second half for Emanuele Lulli, was also among the key players in the match.

On possible similarities between Gasperini and Simeone: “Yes and no. All coaches have different things going for them, it’s hard to find similarities. On his many Argentine teammates at Roma: “It’s wonderful to have so many Argentines on the team; in all the teams I’ve played for, like Udinese and Atlético Madrid, I’ve always had plenty of them. Now here too, I’m lucky in that respect. It’s wonderful because you make friends and everything is easier, even joining the team.”
