A crazy match at the Olimpico. Roma fired 36 shots and only managed to pull off a comeback in the final minutes against Atalanta.

After going behind early thanks to Ederson, the Giallorossi took the three points thanks to goals from Hermoso and Soulé.

Nahuel Molina, who came on in the second half for Emanuele Lulli, was also among the key players in the match.

The Argentine full-back spoke to Sky Sport: “The day I arrived, I found a team with a great desire to work and grow together. They’ve been working well since last season; I found a team with a great desire.”

On possible similarities between Gasperini and Simeone: “Yes and no. All coaches have different things going for them, it’s hard to find similarities. I found a coach with clear ideas, and I’m happy with him. From day one, he made me happy to be here; he immediately made me feel important. I’m happy with this new experience; I found a beautiful Roma team and a Stadio Olimpico that’s always full.”

On his many Argentine teammates at Roma: “It’s wonderful to have so many Argentines on the team; in all the teams I’ve played for, like Udinese and Atlético Madrid, I’ve always had plenty of them. Now here too, I’m lucky in that respect. It’s wonderful because you make friends and everything is easier, even joining the team.”
