Roma’s improvements since last season are tangible.

This was a sign of change and growth: the Roman fans were disappointed to have drawn against the Italian champions, who the year before had won both games, scoring six goals in total and conceding two.

The hope is that the Giallorossi coach can develop the French midfielder, whose talents are currently unknown but were partially discovered against Inter.
At the start of this season, Roma have scored with just about everyone: forwards (Malen, Soulé, Mora), midfielders (Pisilli, Cristante, Koné) and defenders (Hermoso).

Before the Frenchman, Pisilli scored against Fiorentina and Torino, and Cristante, who shone in his Champions League debut away to Fenerbahce.
The number of goals scored by midfielders cannot go unnoticed, given that last season the total tally was 10.
Pisilli was the top scorer with four different goals, followed by Cristante (2), El Aynaoui (2), and Koné (2). A bit low for a Gasperini team.
This year, in just six matches, Roma’s midfielders have already scored 50% of last season’s goals. The only player missing from the list is De Roon, who played just 35 minutes. The evolution has begun.
