Paulo Dybala is eager to make his home Champions League debut for Roma.
The Argentine, now in his fourth season with the Giallorossi, expressed his joy at achieving a goal the team had been pursuing for several years.
The team’s next opponent in Europe’s premier competition will be José Mourinho’s Real Madrid, whom the Giallorossi will welcome to the Olimpico on Wednesday the 14th at 9:00 PM.
In an interview with Prime Video, Roma’s number 21 spoke about the upcoming match against Los Blancos.
“I never imagined I’d have a career like this here. This country welcomed me with open arms, the people helped me grow as a man and a footballer. There are so many emotions here, good times and sad moments, like everyone’s life. I hope there can be an Italian finale,” says La Joya.
On the Champions League: “We gave it our all last season. It brought joy to us and the fans. And pride too. It will be tough, we’ll be facing some of the most successful teams in the world, but with the support of our fans, we’ll have something extra.”
