Roma defender Gianluca Mancini spoke to the media following the 3-3 draw with Napoli.
“We never give up; only against Inter did we give up last year. We create chances and we never gave up. This is the sign of a great team, and it’s important that the substitutes come in well and bring intensity. I’m very happy today.”
“So many new guys joined us over the summer, most of them really young. Balerdi isn’t young, but he’s brought experience and leadership. Everyone who’s arrived is strong and has increased the value of the squad. Roma is the most important thing, we’ll give everything for this shirt.”
“We need to revisit the first half. Conceding goals is part of these games; the important thing is not to get discouraged and to react. Given how the game unfolded, it went well.”
