AC Milan eyeing Tammy Abraham as alternative to Joshua Zirkzee

Andy Mattioli

Roma striker Tammy Abraham is reportedly in Milan’s sights as the Rossoneri continue their pursuit of Joshua Zirkzee.

Milan’s number one target this summer remains Bologna attacker Joshua Zirkzee.

However, negotiations involving Zirkzee’s agents and his demands have proven more difficult than initially anticipated.

Thus, Milan are also keeping track of potential alternatives.

According to Italian journalist Carlo Pellegatti, Roma’s Tammy Abraham is a player Milan boss Paulo Fonseca is particularly keen on.

Pellegatti states that Fonseca asked Milan’s management to monitor Abraham as the Englishman is reportedly on his way out of Roma.

In fact, the Giallorossi are hoping to sell Abraham in this transfer window as he no longer fits in the capital club’s long-term plans.
