Pavel Paska, the agent of Patrik Schick, spoke to Czech website iSport.cz and discussed the future of his client.
The attacker, who is at RB Leipzig this season on loan, has been linked with a return to Roma despite having thrived with the German side this season.
“It is absolutely not true that Leipzig has no money. German clubs are economically among the healthiest in Europe. Everywhere else is falling apart, except for the Premier League. Money is not an issue at all,” he said.
”In Italy, they wrote that Patrik could return and that they (Roma) can’t wait to embrace him again, but Leipzig has a unilateral option to purchase him. I think it’s really just a negotiation tactic”.
”This is a large operation, so we’ll see. When you sell something and ask for money, sometimes you have to lower the price. We are calm. Leipzig is the ideal place for Patrik”.
