After Lina Souloukou’s departure in September, Roma has yet to find a new CEO.

In recent weeks, there had been talk of Alessandro Antonello, who had left Inter a few months earlier.

However, the former Nerazzurri executive has joined Marseille’s management team as the new General Manager.

The French club announced it in an official statement: “Olympique de Marseille announces the appointment of Alessandro Antonello as Chief Executive Officer.

This appointment, led by Pablo Longoria with the participation of the Supervisory Board and the approval of owner Frank McCourt, is part of the club’s plan to establish itself as one of the 24 best European clubs, both in sporting and institutional terms.

Alessandro Antonello joins the Board of Directors of Olympique de Marseille, alongside President Longoria and Alban Juster, Chief Executive Officer – Finance and Compliance.”
