The future of Andrea Belotti is yet to be deciphered as the striker enters the final weeks of his loan at Fiorentina.

Following initial enthusiasm on his part and Vincenzo Italiano’s, Belotti has consistently struggled to make a difference with the Viola.

His loan spell is not going as intended following his decision to move away from Roma in January on a temporary deal to Florence instead: only 1 goal in 9 games for Fiorentina so far.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Belotti’s priority remains to convince the Viola board to invest in him long-term this upcoming summer. Thus, the next few weeks will be of crucial importance to determine the player’s future.

At this moment in time, it is highly unlikely that Fiorentina would choose to make Belotti’s deal permanent.

The Tuscan side are already evaluating replacements for Belotti in the summer with the ex-Torino man destined to return to Roma.
