The final training session took place yesterday at Trigoria after Thursday’s friendly. Roma was supposed to hold another training session this week, but Gian Piero Gasperini decided to grant the remaining players in the capital a three-day rest.

A total of 14 players are absent: 11 are on international duty, while Bailey, Sangaré, and Rensch are out injured.

The Dutchman’s condition is not a concern, and he will be available for the match against Torino.

The Jamaican, meanwhile, continues his recovery from the injury he suffered on the first day of training.

He won’t be available for the derby on September 21st, reports Il Messaggero, but is aiming to return for the match against Nice.

If he’s unable to do so, he’ll be available for the match against Hellas Verona: he’s eager to begin his adventure, and his return is proceeding smoothly.
