Yesterday afternoon, Leon Bailey suffered a niggle during the final stretch of training.
It wasn’t a tackle, as happened to Georgino Wijnaldum in 2023, but a suspected injury sustained while attempting a shot, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Today, August 21st, the Jamaican will undergo tests to better understand the extent of the injury.
If the prognosis is confirmed, he will need to be out for at least three weeks.
The number 31 will be available again after the international break.
