According to Spanish news portal Sport.es, Barcelona are looking for an experienced midfielder.
Paredes is reportedly included in the list of candidates for the job.
After an impressive season with Roma, Paredes could already be on his way out of the Italian capital as more offers are expected to come through for him.
Last year Paredes scored 5 goals and 8 assists between Serie A and the Europa League, proving himself to be a pivotal player in De Rossi’s system.
