Belgium head coach Domenico Tedesco had high praise for Romelu Lukaku’s leadership in the national team.
Leading up to tonight’s match with Austria worth the qualification to EURO 2024, Tedesco spoke about Lukaku and his importance for the Red Devils.
“Romelu is incredible,” Tedesco told reporters during his pre-match press conference. “Not only is he very strong mentally, but he also ensures the cohesion of the group and ensures that the young players integrate well.”
“Romelu is our glue. Plus, we have a great relationship. We talk a lot, including private matters. His summer has been eventful, but if anyone can handle it, it’s him.”
