Ola Solbakken is bound to become a new Roma player but the question remains as to when exactly the Norwegian attacker will be able to wear the Giallorossi jersey.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Bodø/Glimt continue to dispute Solbakken’s transfer to Roma. The player has had an agreement with the capital club for the past few months, but Bodø are reportedly unsatisfied with Roma’s negotiation methods.

The relations between the two clubs have deteriorated since the infamous episode in the first leg of the Conference League quarterfinal to the point that Bodø continue to insist on having Solbakken at their disposal throughout the Champions League qualifiers.

Meanwhile, Roma were hoping to have Solbakken ready for preseason. At this stage, Corriere dello Sport report that the club are considering having Solbakken join them as a free agent in January, given that his current contract is set to expire in December.
