Gian Piero Gasperini will be without Evan Ferguson against Torino.

The Irish striker, however, could leave the capital this transfer window. Should he leave, the number 11 would likely return to his hometown, Brighton, and possibly be sold to another team.

Brighton manager Fabian Hürzeler clarified the Ferguson situation in a press conference. He didn’t rule out a possible return: “The transfer window is open, anything can happen.”

He then emphasized the Irishman’s development in the capital: “He’s had a significant impact at Roma. There have been some setbacks, and he needs to improve in terms of playing time and performances.”

“Ferguson needs to improve, play and then come back to us and be effective,” added the German coach. He then emphasized how important the second half of the season will be for Roma: “He needs to demonstrate his work, starting in the coming months with the Giallorossi.”
