Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante did not sound defeated after last night’s loss to Inter at San Siro stadium.

The Italian international discussed various topics – including the Giallorossi’s hopes to finish near the top of the league table – in a post-match presser.

“Thuram? Nothing happened. Those are things strictly related to the pitch. We clarified it among ourselves,” Cristante said of his brief back-and-forth with Inter attacker Marcus Thuram at full-time.

“Lukaku? Romelu is fine, it’s not like if he doesn’t score a goal for one evening something will happen. It was a difficult match for everyone.”

“We continue to believe in finishing top four. We didn’t start the season well enough, but now I think we’re in a good moment: we were coming off a good streak of victories and today we lost in the final minutes of the match against a strong team.”
