Bad news for Jose Mourinho who was not allowed to rely on some of his key players in the run-up to Roma-Napoli on Saturday.

The Special One and his men regrouped at Trigoria on Wednesday afternoon following Tuesday’s team-organized Christmas dinner.

According to Italian media reports both Bryan Cristante and Gianluca Mancini were not involved in group training.

Mancini’s status is more serious given that the defender is suffering from pubalgia, a chronic groin injury that could force upon him an extended period of rest.

Marash Kumbulla, on the other hand, regularly took part in training and could earn his first call-up this weekend after recovering from his ACL tear.
