In recent hours, Santiago Castro’s name has been gaining traction as a potential attacking option for Roma.

The 2005-born player is a strong contender at Trigoria, with management seeking a valuable alternative to Malen.

Direct contact is currently underway between the Giallorossi and Bologna.

The Argentine’s value is high, around €40 million, but Roma is working to lower the asking price.

The player has given his approval for the transfer, and Gasperini has also given the green light. Negotiations are in full swing with Bologna ready to accept 35 million euros.

The figures for the agreement reached between Roma and the player are also in.

As reported by Nicolò Schira, the Argentine has a contract until 2031 with a salary of €2.2 million per year. The two clubs are in negotiations to finalize the deal.
