Chris Smalling is pondering an exit from Roma after drawing interest in the Saudi Pro League.
The veteran defender is said to be a target for many clubs in the Middle East, including Al-Qadsiah.
As reported over recent days, Roma would like to get rid of his heavy salary of 3.5 million euros per season.
In England he had a long conversation with his agent whom he met during Roma’s training camp at St. George’s Park.
According to calciomercato.com, Al-Qadsiah have made concrete advances to sign him but the player has not yet accepted the Arab destination.
His possible farewell would allow Roma sporting Florent Ghisolfi to attempt a lunge at Sevilla’s Loic Badé. Roma have opened up to the sale, but the player’s approval is needed.
