Napoli manager Antonio Conte praised his team following their 1-0 win over Roma.
In his post-match interview with DAZN, Conte remarked, “We defended well, running hard against a Roma team that always attacks very well. We’re going through a very difficult time in terms of player availability, and clearly I’m not worried, but I hope that nothing happens to the players who are here now.”
“But the team responded very well to the defections, even though we still have some difficulties.”
“I’m really happy for the boys, because it’s a tough time. We should make do with necessity and virtue, but we have to move forward. Winning against Roma sent a strong signal.”
