Cremonese manager Davide Ballardini reflected on the importance of his side’s recent victory over Roma which marked their first win of the season in Serie A.
“There is awareness that we can compete until the end to avoid relegation, we have the qualities to compete. The good game we played on Tuesday night proved that we are up to it,” Ballardini told reporters in a press conference appearance earlier today.
“I think we can do even better after beating Roma. Roma are incredible and we conceded many dangerous chances when we could have simply paid more attention and avoided their pressure. We must improve in the way we defend ourselves.”
