Roma are expected to apply a minor turnover to their starting formation in this week’s Coppa Italia fixture with Cremonese.
The Giallorossi will seek a rematch versus Cremonese after last year’s 1-2 defeat in the quarter-finals of the competition.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Jose Mourinho will rest Gianluca Mancini who has been dealing with a chronic groin injury for the past few weeks.
The Special One intends to replace Mancini and Ndicka – who is now on international duty with the Ivory Coast national team – with Bryan Cristante and Zeki Celik. Both will play in the defense alongside Diego Llorente in a three-man backline.
Lorenzo Pellegrini and Sardar Azmoun could also end up making a surprise appearance from the start. The Roma captain is likely to start alongside Edoardo Bove and Leandro Paredes.
