Daniele De Rossi in touch with Boca Juniors defender Nicolas Valentini: the player is eager to join Roma

Roma manager Daniele De Rossi is playing an active role in the capital club’s transfer-market.

The Giallorossi head coach is in fact involved in the decision-making behind Roma’s transfer strategy.

The latest example of this being Roma’s targeting of Boca Juniors defender Nicolas Valentini.

According to calciomercato.com, Valentini is very close to joining Roma.

The player’s entourage have opened talks with the capital club who are now the favorites to land the 23-year-old central defender.

The same news portal reports that De Rossi has already given his approval to Valentini’s signing.

Moreover, De Rossi has personally reached out to Valentini and the two are in constant touch with each other.

De Rossi first met Valentini during his final months at Boca Juniors before his retirement in 2020.
