Former Roma manager Daniele De Rossi was recently asked about his future plans.

The legendary Giallorossi figure received the “Gesto Etico” award, for the values he demonstrated on and off the field, in the nineteenth edition of the “ASI Sport&Cultura” event, which was held at 3:00 pm in the CONI Hall of Honor.

Before the ceremony, De Rossi took questions from the media.

“My future? Everyone knows that my passion and vocation, my future, will be on a bench. I don’t know which one, I really have no idea, but I hope soon.”

“Coaching abroad? Sure, why not? I had many months to watch football, update myself, I travelled abroad to see structures and pace of play. It fascinates me a lot, I tried to improve a language.”

“I had free time, I hope I don’t have that much anymore, but I didn’t waste it. I’m looking for a serious project with serious people.”
