Roma are already at work to prepare for next season.

Despite still not knowing whether they will qualify to next year’s Champions League or not, the capital club have made it a point to plan in advance along with recently appointed long-term head coach Daniele De Rossi.

In fact, Corriere dello Sport reports that in recent days Daniele De Rossi met with Roma’s ownership to discuss and plan parts of the upcoming summer transfer window.

The technician has already begun compiling a list of requests that will need to be addressed by the new sporting director whom Roma are hoping to announce next week.

It is clear that Roma’s transfer strategy will largely depend on qualification for the Champions League, but in the meantime a basic idea exists: aggressive and fast players are needed, both for the defensive phase and for the offensive phase, who know how to raise the level of intensity of the game.
