June is effectively over, and the contracts of Zeki Celik, Lorenzo Pellegrini, and Paulo Dybala are about to expire.

These three players, along with Stephan El Shaarawy, who is looking for a new team, are awaiting renewals, but there are encouraging signs from Roma.

Regarding the Turkish full-back and the Argentine playmaker, we’re in the final stages of finalizing their contracts and are only waiting for their signatures.

Both will extend their stay in the capital: the former Lille player is considered a cornerstone of the defense by Gasperini due to his versatility, while “La Joya” has agreed to reduce his salary to less than half his previous contract.

According to Sky Sport, Pellegrini will be next. The number 7 and former captain’s contract renewal isn’t as close as his teammates’, but there’s optimism about a final agreement.

Of the four players whose contracts are expiring, only El Shaarawy will be packing his bags.

Gasperini’s requests have been granted: Celik, Pellegrini, and Dybala will remain Roma players next year.
