The final match of this twenty-fourth round is Roma vs. Cagliari.

The Rossoblu won the first leg 1-0 thanks to a goal from Gaetano. The return leg is scheduled for Monday, February 9th at 8:45 PM at the Olimpico.

Roma seems to be struggling. In their last three matches across all competitions, they have drawn two, against Milan and Panathinaikos, and lost one against Udinese.

The Giallorossi are fifth in the standings with 43 points. Gasperini’s team boasts the best defense in the league. Cagliari, on the other hand, are on a three-match winning streak.

The Rossoblu have won against Juventus, Fiorentina, and Verona. Pisacane’s team now has a comfortable lead over the relegation zone with 28 points to date.

Given the injury record, Gasperini will also need to field the new arrivals in the January transfer window.

Svilar will be the usual goalkeeper, while the trio ahead of him is expected to consist of Mancini, Ndicka, and Ghilardi, given Hermoso’s absence. Celik will be on the right flank and Wesley on the left.

With Koné unavailable, El Aynaoui will start in midfield alongside Cristante. Up front, the Giallorossi coach appears to be opting for a three-man attack, with Malen as center forward, Soulé on the right, and newcomer Zaragoza.

Dybala will be unavailable as he is recovering from a knee injury and is not yet fully fit.
