What seemed like the day of his definitive return has turned into a new alarm for Roma and Gian Piero Gasperini.

As revealed by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Paulo Dybala was forced to interrupt today’s training session due to a new problem.

The Argentine striker felt pain in his knee, forcing him to stop.

The discomfort returned just as “La Joya” was trying to regain match fitness after recovering from the injury he suffered on January 25th.

The recurrence of the pain could jeopardize the number 21’s presence for Sunday’s away match at the Marassi stadium against Genoa.

For Gasperini, this is a significant absence, coming just when the coach hoped to be able to count on the Argentine’s quality to face the March tour de force.

The situation from the infirmary remains complex, with Matias Soulé and Mario Hermoso continuing with personalized training and aiming for a call-up to the European Championship away match in Bologna.
