Eldor Shomurodov returned to his scoring ways helping push Roma in the second half with an equalizer that was eventually dismissed by Ludogorets’ late minute winner.
The Uzbek striker discussed the tough night in Bulgaria in a post-match interview with the club.
“It was a difficult night for us, mainly because of the pitch which was not good at all. But, that’s not an excuse,” he said. “We must always win these games. There’s still time to improve.”
“Tonight’s game is already over. We must move on an think about the upcoming match with Empoli because there’s not much time. We play again in three days,” he concluded.
