Roma loanee Eldor Shomurodov is set to make his Spezia debut from the start in today’s Serie A affair with Napoli.
The Uzbeki striker will lead Luca Gotti’s attack against Luciano Spalletti’s men this afternoon.
Before kick-off, Shomurodov sounded delighted at the prospect of getting more playing time following his recent loan switch from Roma.
“I’m ready, I missed playing from the first minute. I want to score, but first I have to help the team avoid relegation,” he told Sky Sport before the game. “I spoke to Gotti before coming here and the first thing he told me is that we’re all a big family and we look after each other. That was very important.”
