Leon Bailey appears one step away from becoming a new Roma player.
The Jamaican winger is expected to shortly join Gian Piero Gasperini’s ranks as Roma and Aston Villa are finalizing his transfer.
Bailey’s imminent move was confirmed by coach Unai Emery in today’s press conference. Bailey was excluded from Villa’s squad list for the match against Newcastle.
“He’s unavailable because he’s in contact with another club,” Emery told reporters.
“There’s a possibility he might leave. We’ll accept his eventual decision to leave.”
