Mario Hermoso is likely to depart Roma this summer.
After failing to impress in the first half of last season, the Spanish defender completed an unsuccessful loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen and is now expected back at Trigoria for the start of preseason.
The player, however, is not expected to stay at Roma.
As reported by Il Messaggero, Hermoso is being courted by various teams in La Liga, including Espanyol.
The newspaper states that Espanyol made an inquiry for Hermoso.
The problem, however, is represented by the ex-Atletico Madrid man’s salary which exceeds 3 million euros.
