Roma are targeting French defender Evan Ndicka of Eintracht Frankfurt.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Ndicka is Roma’s priority to strengthen the backline for next season and one of Mourinho’s main requests ahead of the summer.

The Italian newspaper claims that Roma, via General Manager Tiago Pinto, have already presented Ndicka with a considerable offer.

However, the soon-to-be free agent wants to wait for Barcelona to come forward. His desire is to join Barça but it remains to be seen whether they will match the Giallorossi’s proposal.

Ndicka is expected to make a decision on his future after June 3, the night that will see Frankfurt face Leipzig in the Cup final.
