Roma defender Evan Ndicka continues his streak of impressive performances after returning from AFCON and cementing his place in Daniele De Rossi’s starting line-up.

The Ivorian centreback – who joined Roma as a free agent last summer – has seen his market value rise to almost €25 million in only a few months, reports Francesco Lucca for ForzaRoma.info.

Since returning to optimal fitness levels after winning the Africa Cup of Nations with his national team, Ndicka started and played 90 minutes in four consecutive games for De Rossi’s squad, delivering the decisive assist to Diego Llorente on the wonder volley that gave Roma a precious equalizer versus Fiorentina on Sunday.

Ndicka is now considered an untouchable starter for De Rossi’s team – his strength, pace and heading abilities have made him a consistent part of Roma’s backline and the player is no longer considered just an option off the bench.

The defender’s future is yet to be written as he is expected to draw considerable interest ahead of the summer window.
