Former Lazio midfielder Marco Parolo was asked about one of his historic rivals in the Derby della Capitale.
In an interview with Doppiopasso podcast on Twitch, Parolo spoke about the comparisons between him and former Roma rival Radja Nainggolan.
When asked who was the strongest of the two, Parolo replied: “Nainggolan is very strong, but I have scored more goals than him.”
The phrase sparked outrage among fans, especially those of Roma, who consider Nainggolan to have been one of the strongest midfielders in Europe in those years.
