Former Roma fullback and footballing legend Cafu briefly addressed the Giallorossi’s success in this year’s edition of the Conference League.
“Winning in Rome is difficult but not impossible,” he said before a charity match for Soccer Aid. “We won, we celebrated and we continue to celebrate to this day,” he continued.
“I want to compliment Mourinho and the whole team, they played a wonderful campaign and managed to win the Conference League. I hope they can continue on this path.”
“Rome is a place where when you win, you celebrate for a long time. I hope the fans enjoy this year to the fullest.”
