Former Roma midfielder Olivier Dacourt spoke in favor of Daniele De Rossi and praised his former Giallorossi teammate for the work he’s done as a coach since returning to the club in mid-January.

During an LPL event in Paris, Dacourt was asked about De Rossi’s progress in his life as Roma’s head coach and the upcoming Europa League showdown with Milan.

“Since Daniele’s arrival, Roma have changed their attitude. The team has gained a lot of confidence thanks to him. He gave them peace of mind.”

“Milan have quality, they were in the Champions League, Leao is having an amazing season. Ultimately, it will be decided by the smallest detail and I hope that Roma win.”

“The best thing is seeing Daniele on the Roma bench. He is a friend of mine, I am really happy to see him there – nobody loved Roma as much as he did.”
